Job Description Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, project management, and maintenance of the logical and physical databases Involves normalization, data modeling, transformations, mapping and mining Working with Oracle v.10 Performs activities related to database administration such as, access methods/time, device allocation, quality control, data validation checks, security, and documentation Requirements · Technical training in database administration, programming, and operating systems and at least 2 years relevant experience · Excellent problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills · Proficient knowledge of relational data, logic structures, and data modeling · Must be a team player and have flexibility in schedule to accommodate varying work requirements when needed · This position works independently and will use the newest technology · Must have experience with SQL & Oracle · Must have 4 to 5 years experience as a DBA with SQL and / or Oracle · Must have SQL data warehousing experience · Must be more experienced with the administration side of database administrator and not developer · Must be familiar with writing triggers and both PL/SQLstored procedures and Java stored procedures · Must be able to work after hours if needed and on call if needed Compensation Excellent starting salary, benefits package, bonus and growth potential --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
