Title: Linux Administrator / Net Ops with VoIP Skills: 3+ years Linux admin, Samba, PBX (Asterisk, FreePBX, VoIP), Perl, routers, firewalls
Programming Resources, Inc. is seeking a qualified Linux administrator to fill a full-time position with a very solid client who is experiencing growth. Requirements for this position include: - At least 3 years of working Linux experience, including: Installation, managing, and troubleshooting. - Must understand basic Linux daemons: Samba, bind/djbdns/nscd, postfix/qmail, squid, nagios, cups. - Must have PBX experience: Asterisk, FreePBX, Voip a plus. - Must have some fair amount of network experience: BGP/OSPF, Routers, Firewalls, T1s. Highly desired skills: - Must be proficient in Perl and shell scripting - Install and manage Debian/Ubuntu - Must have virtualization experienced, preferably VMware ESX / Virtual Infrastructure Preferred skills/experience: An understanding Openldap / AD Web applications Tomcat, Jboss, Apache Zimbra MSSQL, MySQL POSIX ACLs Iptables Travel: 10 to 25% travel to remote offices to setup phone and firewalls. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems. Build and deploy new systems. Configure firewalls, small office networks, and asterisk systems for new offices. Light production work which would include: adding new users to AD and LDAP, assigning FAX numbers, troubleshoot email delivery problems, managing email lists, and documenting procedures.
