Hello all. I have an interesting problem that the reason for the
problem is rather idiotic but I have no control over that part. (I
felt the need for a disclaimer here... Haha)

Anyway, I have a freeradius server that is getting authentication from
2 ldap servers behind it. The 2 servers authenticate for 2 different
sets of people all using the same network. The setup of freeradius
works well with the 2 servers. It always checks one server first for
auth and if it fails it checks the other server. This works perfectly
when the user is on the second sever but not the first. The first will
respond with object not found and then try to auth against the second.
My problem comes about when there is a user by the same name on the
first server. (This is the messed up setup part). Say I am the user on
the second server and my username is ebrown and there is someone else
with ebrown that is located on the first server. The passwords are
different. When freeradius does auth for me on the first server it
replies with authentication failed and never checks the second server.

Now that I have the background. My question is how can I set up
freeradius to try the second server after an auth failed on the first?
Or set it up to where I could make it parse something in the username
to determine what server to auth against? I have been googling
without much success and decided to see if anyone here had any ideas.

Thanks in advance!
Evan Brown
