I posted a while ago to the list on this issue. Not being adept at LDAP, I'm looking for someone who is!
We have a printing control system running on Linux that uses LDAP for account updates and for authentication. The print system can only be configured to point to a single LDAP server, but for good reasons we have two Email servers. Someone suggested an LDAP reflector so that the system seeking authentication can point to the reflector - and the reflector will query the two mail servers and relay the appropriate authentication info. Why, we're even offering money to get this done! I'm hoping someone on the list is good at LDAP and would be interested in helping us with this issue. I'd rather not have to take a crash course on LDAP, and of course we'd like the system to be secure. If anyone is interested in helping us out, please contact me off-list at [email protected] Thanks!
