Has anyone seen any independent verification of this? I see everyone and their mom blogging about it, but they all cite the Washington Post. I hesitate to dismiss this as an April Fools joke, as it would be a very sick joke and is far to close to reality to be funny. However, it _is_ the 1st of April, and some verification would be nice...
