this list is a totally inappropriate place to ask but: 

"why do you all hate the fed so much?"

i no longer live in nashvegas, so a good old fashion f2f lesson ain't
what it used to be. but if you could please reply to me off list. I'll
listen and read. but i just don't get it. seems to me that w/o a central
bank, uh, "commerce" wouldn't happen any way that we're used to[0]. not
just that but there was a point when there was a "tiny" central bank,
but that didn't last long due to "finacial panics" and "zomfg we have no
money, let's riot".

[0] "money" would go back to a barter-ish system.
