I forgot where I got the word on. It was like War Games back then. I dialed it up from our Tandy Model-II running TRS-DOS on 4 8" floppy disks (OMG!). It was more or less a simple mailbox with, I think, 4 or 5 commands. But, like you, though about 4 years older than you at the time, I was captivated by it. I had been exposed to 110 baud acustic dialup "paper/printer" terminals (not a CRT!) in the mid 70's through a classmate's older bother working over at MTSU. To be able to do the same sort of thing on my own computer just rocked! Oh well.... I like it MUCH better today!! >:) (maniacal laughter)
