Windows/Unix Administrator Long term contract Skills needed: -Ability to migrate Windows 2003 to Unix - Rack/Stack Servers -Must have the ability to maintain servers as well as push software upgrades, performance tuning This is a high profile position, team environment, on call rotation Network/ Systems Administrator Contract to hire Description: A systems/network administrator position requiring experience and knowledge in maintaining and troubleshooting Linux, Windows 2003 Server, MS Exchange Users, Windows XP, LAN and WAN network environments. This role will be to assist the Network Manager with server maintenance tasks, perform user account maintenance, handle advanced support issues, assist with user support, and work on projects as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in IT: advanced support and systems (PC/Server) administration. Minimum of 3 years experience - Suse Linux Administration Linux: ability to install, diagnose, and repair Linux OS. Work with and setup Linux VMs. Monitor for application performance, and manage system updates and backups. MS Windows Server 2003, MS Exchange 2003: ability to install, patch, and troubleshoot systems and connected users. Ability to setup user Active directory accounts and mailboxes. Network: ability to diagnose network/wan connectivity issues.
