Hmm, my most recent phone upgrade was to avoid a $60 month data plan the GF wanted. She wanted a 3g dongle for her laptop for the many times she wasn't around wifi or a friendly network. I gladly pay the $30 for the unlimited data plan that says it is truly unlimited as opposed to the $60 plan that has a 5gig monthly cap. The E71x that I picked up may not run linux, but it is open, and supported with a linux compatible sdk and even uses gcc. Further I can run JoikuSpot and create a wap with my cell phone and provide access to my laptop if I need it. In fact, this is what the GF does now instead of paying the $60 to Sprint. -- Steven Critchfield [email protected] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
