JMJ that sounds like the machine I just fried...wait no it was an AMD. The processor heat sink got so hot it burnt my finger prints off. While thats good for most thieves, I dont need to worry about such things :). Amazing what even an older machine will do. At work Im using an old P4 with ubuntu and even running win7 in a virtual box vm its snappy enough to keep me from wanting too much more This 24" iMac is wayyyy more than I need but I enjoy it. Just finding some packages dont play as well on darwin as they do on a linux kernel...not to mention not everything is there in ports. What Dave offered is perfect and will get put to good use for various nefarious uses ;) -- -Kevin "You can't turn a pig into a thoroughbred, but if you spend enough time and money, you sure can make a mighty fast pig" On Wed, Jul 14, 2010 at 7:10 PM, JMJ <[email protected]> wrote: > On 07/14/2010 05:51 PM, Kevin Hart wrote: > >> Anyone have an old PC they just want out of their life >> > > Funny you should mention that...
