I'm shopping for a new video card (PCI Express 2.1 x16) and it's been so
long since I did this sort of thing that I have no idea what the
reputable brands are anymore.
Which brands/chipsets enjoy the best Linux support and best reputation
for quality? Which should I avoid?
I'm looking at an Asus EAH5750 ($140) and a PowerColor AX5750 (Open box
for $95, regularly $135). Both use the Radeon HD 5750 chipset. Any
thoughts on those?
The only thing I expect to be doing that will require video processing
horsepower is Second Life.
