P.S. On a somewhat-related note, April is the yearly meeting in which
we collect NLUG officer nominations so if you'd like to nominate someone
(or yourself) for an NLUG officer position, please come to the April
meeting. Officer elections will take place at the May meeting.
Something that I have been struggling with the past few MONTHS is trying
to get an LDAP system working and then getting it to work with Samba.
Dave Manginelli and I spoke about this last Thursday as being a thorn in
our sides (backsides or otherwise) and never really having the chance or
way to get our arms around the LDAP process.
I'm willing to lead discussion, bring equipment because I need to make
it work. What I have currently seems to load but when I try to test or
verify that what I loaded, happened - it just sticks its tongue out at
me :P
Oh, and you want this to work within an hour and change meeting... We
may also carry this over to the LinuxFest.
