I'm using ClearOS and I love it. It's feature rich, and based on Red Hat. >From what I understand, they're about to release a new version called ClearOS Core that will just be their own clone of RHEL along with ClearOS Enterprise which is their firewall/gateway solution. They've become somewhat disenchanted with CentOS which they were basing their system on due to the delay in getting CentOS 6 out the door.
And yes, I use it on my own hardware and it runs flawlessly.
