My department has opened a new position for a Computer Programmer/Analyst I.
There's more details below. If you read the spiel and think "this sounds
cool", then please reply off-list. I will get you a copy of the official job
description and hand deliver your resume to the hiring manager.

Position: Computer Programmer/Analyst I
Company: Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Center for Patient and
Professional Advocacy
Company web site: http://www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/centers/cppa

The Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA) improves the quality
of patient care by promoting a culture of professionalism and
accountability. The Data Team (your new coworkers) provide software support
for the CPPA's operations. You will work in Excel, Access, SQL Server, Perl,
Windows, and Linux - all in the same day. As we wrap our arms around this
confusing array of software, we need your help with the daily production
tasks that keep the CPPA running: building Excel charts, writing minor SQL
queries, data import, cleaning junk out of said data, and fronting
questions.

You will get to use such diverse skills such as...
* SQL
* VBA
* MS Excel
* HTML
* VB6

You will stay busy. You will be appreciated. And you get to work with really
great people. What's not to like?
