What is the best way to protect VMware & Hyper-V?

You've virtualized most of your datacenter, but your backup system is still
in the last century. You're backing up VMs by installing an agent in them,
and this is creating all sorts of problems. Besides having to manage and
license hundreds of agents, doing guest-level backups in your VMs is the
most resource-intensive and labor-intensive way to accomplish this important
task. Learn about the advancements in VMware backup, and how you can
leverage them to make backups of your VMware systems even better than those
of your physical systems. In addition, learn about ways to use the same
tools to protect both physical and virtual servers.

W. Curtis Preston will explain the pros and cons of the various backup and
recovery options to you, including explaining VMware VADP, VSS, snapshots,
source-side deduplication and CDP. His product-independent overview will
help you understand many products that you may have already heard about,
including some that you haven't heard about.

Symantec Software will then explain how their products fit into this
picture. They will explain how NetBackup and BackupExec work in a
virtualized environment, as well as other products up Symantec's sleeve.
