It's not necessarily the language what someone should learn. The language is just a secondary thing which helps us to implement our desire. The methodologies, patterns and practices matter. Like: ORM, IoC, Dependency Injection, Unit Testing, continuous delivery, agile methodologies, etc. It's a lot.
