presentation for Tuesday night. It isn't playing fair...
It so happens that the dhcp server I have at the house has syslog as its
logging engine. Plugged in what I want and it "just works." Moved to
the dhcp server at work (the source of the topic) which has rsyslog as
its engine. I'm three for four.
The presentation may be a working session...
This works at home but not at work:
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none;dhcp.none /var/log/messages
The ";dhcp.none" was added by me.
But at least now I have a dhcp.log at work ;)
