All
We are still looking for a skilled SysAdmin that is actually a linux admin…not
someone who's turned on a linux server. Seems through the usual channels we
have not found anyone qualified or has enough experience.

We are looking for someone with very good bash scripting ability. Experience
with Apache2 configs. Would love experience in tuning tomcat config/memory,
but know that might be a stretch. Some customer contact experience and not
afraid of it. Nagios experience of writing custom checks would help me a lot.
Splunk automation and integration is another plus. Looking for more than a
newbie admin but if you have the chops and can show it, thats fine too.

The office is by St. Thomas hospital and would like someone to show up there
most the time. Working from home on occasion is acceptable. On call rotation
with an existing team of 3 admins. Very very minimal after hours work, only
scheduled deployments on friday night that the on call person takes care of but
is known about. Its education based so school hours/dates are our busy times
but have projects year round.

If you are interested feel free to email me off list with questions and/or your
resume. There is an HR process of submitting your application but it's my boss
that is hiring and me/my team doing most of the interviews. We are needing to
fill this position sooner than later.

Thanks
