Fun. I'm planning on deploying Scientific Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux
on the servers I'm going to provide one of my ham radio friends in West
Virginia (Doug Lowe, N1EMP, formerly lived in La Vergne). I have two
rackmount servers (two Sun Fire X4100s) that I bought on surplus auction,
and I'd like to give to him. I'm planning on SL/OEL bare metal, with
VirtualBox running a couple of Windows Server VMs. He has some software
that will work on Linux, and others that are Windows only.

" ' With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured,
the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all
irrevocably.' Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie as wisdom and
warning... The first time any man's freedom is trodden on we’re all
damaged." - Jean-Luc Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie, Star Trek: TNG
episode "The Drumhead"
