You can do tabs -8 to reset to "standard" and see if that helps? But I
haven't heard of any differences in tabs between 5 & 6....

Thanks for thinking of the simple things to try first. Were the above
the case, I would expect cat sourcefile.ext to be different. I get the
same output to the screen when I cat this file.
