Do you know your DHCP Range? What happens if you do let say ifconfig 10.0.1.25 netmask 255.255.0.0
route add default gw 10.0.0.1 Does that work? I know the ip I am using are your range, but if you know your range, then maybe you can try to assign an ip. As far ISC DCHP, we use at my office with no issues at all on a class b.
