Everyone,
I am attending the AWS summit in NYC tomorrow.
My objectives (that I can think of) are:
1. Getting video content out to as many people as possible (as easily
as possible)- Currently using S3
2. Seeking out ways to make computer user support easier (supporting
users who know nothing and don't want to know anything except they "just
want it to work"). My colleague does a good job of supporting these
users' Win 7 machines- I want to make his job easier.
Suggestions for what questions to ask appreciated.
Amazon has a couple tools of note:
[] Elastic Transcoder, which I believe transcodes bins of videos. I
have never used it.
[] S3 might be an ideal CDN method, but there may be others that are
cheaper, and better-suited to video (Youtube?)
