I recently went through this exercise. This is not easy on a modern
Macintosh. It used to be built in.
Thankfully you aren't trying to burn a DVD movie (that's a major PITA now).

As for burning a DVD iso. Step one, of course, is to use md5sum to make
sure it matches the md5 checksum.
Assuming you have a valid ISO. Follow this
