Exactly where you're breaking down in the install process is a little vague so it's hard to help you. But for what it's worth, the winehq appdb website seems to indicate that certain versions of lotus approach will at least run on vintage versions of wine (there are also some workarounds and fixes documented for getting it installed listed there).. No reports have been submitted lately for modern versions of wine, but either way, that would be my starting point.
