Good to hear. As for the Logout, how much do you wait after the first
attempt? It's like flashing and stuff and then coming back?
What do these files say, right after the point you click Logout once (and
then wait for a while and the logout fails):
~/.xsession-errors
~/.xfce4-session.verbose-log
dmesg
