It would be a good idea for someone from NLUG to hold on to the meetup group. It was for a while how people found meetups. The pandemic and their own bad business practices has arguably made them less relevant in the last two years. If NLUG decides that they do NOT want the group, it would be better to delete the group than to let it fall randomly into someone's hands which is what meetup will do. It has 851 "members" at this point. That's way bigger than I expected it to be. Honestly, I'd keep it and see if there isn't a way to drive more engagement with more of these 851 "members". Meetup has a message board feature. I suspect a lot of those people are not aware of this mailing list.
If Michael Chaney can be added as a leader for now to hold the membership, this would be a good thing. I don't mean to step on Vincent's role.
