I didn't get an error either.  It was also quoted to `>From' before nmh
saw it.

procmail can also store mail directly into an nmh folder.  Place a
dot at the end of the folder name.

    inbox/nmh/.

I wouldn't take the procmail suggestion as saying newer software
fixes the problem.  Whatever software is adding the real From lines
is broken if it doesn't quote false ones at the same time.
