If this isn't the proper forum, please redirect me to a more
appropriate one. I didn't see any references to archives for this
list on the nmh home page, so I might be speaking out of turn.

I keep thinking it would be useful to be able to pass the current part
of a message through a filter with mhbuild. For example, I'd like to
pgp encrypt a part of a message like:

#|text/x-pgp
part of the mesage to be filtered

#<text/plain
a part marked plain just because

mhbuild could then use the 'standard rules', like looking for a
|program method in the directive, or looking up
mhbuild-compose-text/x-pgp in my profile and piping that part through
the program and encapsulating its stdout properly as a MIME part.

Reading through mhbuildsbr.c the task didn't seem insurmountable, but
then I don't know my way around the nmh internals at all.

Any thoughts? Is there a better way to add this functionality?
