Firstly, thanks for the nmh distirbution - I've just moved to a new university after using MH for years and I was pleased to find that someone had autoconf'd it and that development is continuing. I am attempting to install nmh on a DEC Alpha running Digital Unix (OSF1) V4.0. Autoconf appears to proceed successfully, and the only change I need make to config.h is to define SYS5 and SVR4. Make proceeds but then dies with gcc -s -o ali ali.o aliasbr.o ../config/version.o ../config/config.o ../sbr/libmh.a ../mts/smtp/libsmtp.a ../zotnet/libzot.a collect2: ld returned 1 exit status /usr/bin/ld: Unresolved: modf make[1]: *** [ali] Error 1 when in the uip directory. Modf appears in snprintf.c, but clearly the system can't find it, neither can I. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lincoln Turner Department of Physics University of Melbourne PS.
