I've sent mail to this list prior to this, and haven't received
either a yea or nay for going ahead and doing this, so I hope I'm not
stepping on any toes in doing so. I've set up a new site, mailing
lists, and a cvs repository for managing nmh since the one at gatech
will be going away.

The website is pretty basic: <http://www.mhost.com/nmh/>. But can be
updated using the repository. I'm hoping other people will help out
by contributing to the online documentation. It auto-updates from the
cvs-repository every hour.

The repository includes two copies of the nmh-1.0 source from the
tar file at gatech. One is named nmh-dev, and the other is
nmh-stable. My idea was that development work would be done on -dev
with maintenance done on -stable. Basically the same development
model used by the Linux kernel, zsh, and a whole host of other
open-source/free software development projects.

Also in the repository is a patched mh-6.8.4 for comparison and the
information that is sent out on the mailing lists (the faq, what the
list is about, etc).

There's a cvsweb browser on the website at
<http://www.mhost.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb> that allows you to poke around
without having to grab the whole tree.

I've created three mailing lists:

nmh-announce - read only list for receiving announcements of new
  releases, etc.
nmh-bugs - write only list for submitting bugs
nmh-workers - list for discussing the work related to updating,
changing, and general hacking on nmh. The previous two lists are
  forwarded to this one.

To subscribe, send a message to $[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the
subject "subscribe". ie:

  From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  Subject: subscribe
  -------

You should receive a message shortly thereafter letting you know
you're subscribed. If you don't send mail to me <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and
I'll investigate.

Right now, I'm the only one with write access to the repository, so
I'll have to set up accounts for everyone who needs one. If you want
an account, let me know and I'll generate it and get you a password.

Directions for basic anonymous access are available at
<http://www.mhost.com/nmh/cvs.html>.
