Hello there,
Under Linux RH-6.0, I've installed nmh-1.0.2 (configured
with --enable-nmh-pop option) and on top of it exmh-2.1.1.
One colleague I copied wishes to retreive his mail via POP.
Therefore, I customized the mts.conf file by adding :
servers: cvxfr.france.hp.com
pophost: cvxfr.france.hp.com
Within exmh I specified the mail host for POP3 same as above
and also "Ways to Inc = inbox". I don't want to use ~/.netrc
for security reasons. When invoking exmh, I'm prompted for
userID and password on the mail host but the inc command fails
and here is the error message in syslog.log file :
Dec 2 17:46:25 cvxfr popper[13373]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: \
-ERR Password supplied for "emile" is incorrect.
Dec 2 17:46:25 cvxfr popper[13373]: Failed attempted login to emile \
from host hpfrcu23.france.hp.com
Did I miss something ? I've seen something similar posted a
few days ago by Glenn Burkhardt but I can't figure out if it
is related to the same stuff. Thanks a lot for your help,
