Well, after much harassing, Yahoo! has finally listed nmh. They chose to
ignore my submitted description, however:
nmh - The successor to RAND/UCI's MH (Message Handler), a suite of
single-purpose UNIX commandline email tools -- extremely customizeable
and programmable.
and instead went with:
nmh - required commandline email suite underpinning EXMH.
which sucks in a plethora of ways. First off, it's misleading as EXMH can
also wrap around classic MH. Next, the only detail it gives about nmh
itself is that it's a commandline email suite. A related problem is that
now on Yahoo!, nmh is defined in terms of EXMH and EXMH is defined in
terms of [n]mh. Pretty lame.
I complained to their directory support dept., but I won't be holding my
breath for a change.
On the other side of the fence, I had hoped dmoz.org would be more
responsive than Yahoo!, but I submitted a request to delete the now
content-free gatech.edu nmh page link from the MH category quite some time
ago, and nothing has been done. I believe I submitted the request prior to
the last stated update of July 15, though I could be wrong. Sigh, guess
I'll submit the request again.
