Awesome, my thanks to both of you.  I'd been annoyed by those messages
for some months, but always thought I oughta sit down and study the
appropriate standards for myself before I complained.  I finally 
snapped.:-)  I'll go ahead and suggest that the IETF editor fix
her mailer.
