If I edit that file, to change the "cur" setting to some other valid number, "mhpath" returns the path to that message file, whether or not the message file exists. If I delete the line entirely, or delete the ".mh_sequences" file entirely, I get "mhpath: no cur message". This all looks as it should be. -NWR
