A suggestion: I try to advocate in the development projects I work on to have each developer update the ChangeLog, NEWS, History, whatever file whenever the developer commits changes to the repository that should be noted to end-users of the project. This way, there isn't the mad scramble of trying to remember all the changes that have been done before doing a release. --ewh
