Hi,
I'm having trouble getting nmh to run on Mac OS X. (10.2.7).
When I try to run 'inc', I get the following error message:
[silverstreak:local/src/nmh-1.1RC2] sherk% inc
inc: unable to lock and fopen /var/mail/sherk
I get the same behavior with nmh-1.0.4 and with nmh-1.1RC2. I suspect
that this has to do with the dot locking, but I can't seem to find
the problem. Has anyone else seen this?
ls -lag /private/var
drwxrwxr-x 3 root mail 102 Oct 5 22:36 mail
ls -lag /private/var/mail
total 8
drwxrwxr-x 3 root mail 102 Oct 5 22:36 .
drwxr-xr-x 19 root wheel 646 Sep 29 16:00 ..

The binaries seem to set right...
ls -lag /sw/bin/inc [nmh-1.0.4]
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root mail 206612 Sep 26 22:21 inc
ls -l /usr/local/inc [nmh-1.1RC2]
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root mail 442204 Oct 7 14:37 inc
