MH-E supports swish, swish++, namazu, mairix, as well as pick and grep as fallbacks. When you search for something, we automatically detect which search program you are using, but you can override the setting. We display the results in a single buffer and break up the results by folder. The results do go into a separate folder, but if you reply to a message, delete a message, refile a message, and so on, the original message is modified accordingly. We do not support glimpse because it is not free. I'm always happy to remove code, so if the MH code does everything the MH-E code does, that would be great! Anyone who does this work should be familiar with MH-E's capabilities so a compatible solution can be found. -- Bill Wohler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.newt.com/wohler/ GnuPG ID:610BD9AD Maintainer of comp.mail.mh FAQ and MH-E.
