Hi. I just got a feeling there are a lot of struggling with nmh if I want it to behave like a modern MUA that uses domain, username, password information completely different from local setting.
here is another problem. After several days I found most of the emails I sent did not arrive. I found it is because nmh always use [EMAIL PROTECTED] as my envelop sender address, despite I have: Alternate-Mailboxes: [EMAIL PROTECTED] in my .mh_profile and I also have: $ cat ~/Mail/components To: cc: From:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Fcc: +outbox Subject: -------- And my email could not be delivered because the receiving smtp server complains: 56E7E1D5741 680 Mon May 5 11:19:44 [EMAIL PROTECTED] (host bossdog.realss.com[211.157.108.128] said: 450 4.1.8 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command)) How can I make send(1) use the /correct/ envelop sender address? Do I get my hand dirty again and modify smtp.c to hardwire it in?
