The sequence '1 1' is the same as the sequence '1'
The sequence '1 2' is the same as the sequence '2 1'.
Thus sequences behave as what are normally called sets, not as what are
normally called sequences.
Of course, it is way, way too late to correct this three decade old mistake, a
mistake for which I share some blame.
