>From a diff of the same email fcc:'d and dcc:'d I see the latter has a
"correct" From: and a Message-ID, amongst other headers I'm not so
concerned with.

localhost's Postfix is doing both I'd have thought.  Haven't time to
check now.  I want to be able to tell correspondents in future "It was
message ID ...".
