Wow. So I'm not hallucinating (at least not this time :) Been seeing this, haven't had a chance to track it down. Looking at exmh's .xmhcache files, I have 145,141 total messages listed in .xmhcache entries, and the bug is affecting 3,266 of them. So there's an anectodal value for the frequency. A few random samplings from my NANOG folder: 45498 * Fri 17Feb 5442 Sven Olaf Kamphui RE: Colo Vending Machine <<On Fri, 45533 * Fri 17Feb 4658 Owen DeLong Re: Common operational misconceptions <<On Feb 17, 2012, at 11:04 A 45536 * Sat 18Feb 5813 Masataka Ohta Re: Common operational misconceptions <<David Ba 45588 * Mon 20Feb 4990 Lamar Owen Re: WW: Colo Vending Machine <<On Friday, February 17, 201 45814 R* Wed 7Mar 5746 Jack Bates Re: Huawei edge routers.. <<On 3/7/2012 9 45927 * Tue 13Mar 4564 Joel jaeggli Re: shared address space... a reality! <<On 45964 21:10 EDT 4403 To:[email protected] Clueful security contact at humana.com? <<An A quick test shows it's stable - several different scan patterns consistently failed the same messages in my NANOG folder (scan last:100, scan 45498 45533, etc etc), Interestingly enough, Ken's 11:35 message did *not* trip over the bug, so there's some state that's different between your machine and mine. My first guess is number/length of Received: headers?
