Maybe I was half aware of the possibility of such a workaround, although I
haven't tried it in real life. Since I became aware of this pitfall, I've
kept automimeproc enabled in my profile, and I believe it does the right
thing for me, although for some time I wasn't very comfortable with it.

My point, though, was that Nmh unfortunately makes it very easy -
stretching the metaphor an inch or two - to shoot oneself in the foot
without noticing, and I got the impression that this was one of Ken's
points as well. Actually, I thought that he really hit the nail on the
head, so I got the idea to chime in. Now I think I'll sit back again and
enjoy people's educated conversation.

I will keep your workaround in mind, though. Thank you!
