Hm. What SHOULD happen is that the message headers should be displayed with mhl (whihc uses your pager), mhshow waits for mhl to exit, and then goes onto the next part. Does that work? Yes, it does ... I just tested that; I removed -dump from my w3m invocation and it worked as I described with -noconcat. You're using 'e' in LESS, same as me, so less shouldn't be exiting until the second time you reach EOF.
