The send man page says "Most of the features attributed to send are actually
performed by post.". That leaves me guessing as to the exact division of
responsibility between send and post.
I'm guessing, but am not certain, that the answer is in the next paragraph
about mhbuild. I.e, the only thing that send does is whatever mhbuild does.
