Well, to  be fair,  the word "apparent"  has multiple  meanings, usually
indicating  clarity, such  as "clear  or obvious".  For example,  "it is
apparent to  all who  read RFC  5322, that only  one each  of To  and Cc
header are allowed."

But I agree that it's unambiguous that  there can be only one of certain
and specific headers.

Yeah, kind  of difficult  to decide  where such  boundaries exist.  As I
mentioned, my MSA  (new-inject, or ofmipd, from  the mess822 program[1])
cleans  up  various  things  in  the headers  to  make  them  compliant,
regardless of which MUA is being used to draft the messages.
