  Dear colleagues,

The Center for Drug Development Science (CDDS) invites qualified individuals
interested in pursuing a career in Drug Development and Regulatory Science to
apply for a research fellow position. Detailed information regarding CDDS and
the Fellowship Program can be found at http://cdds.ucsf.edu.

CDDS Fellows typically obtain research experience by working on real-time
technical assistance drug development projects for the pharmaceutical industry
or various translational and clinical research projects performed by UCSF
investigators. Based at either our Washington DC (UCDC) or San Francisco
facility, the fellow will engage in population pharmacokinetic and
pharmacodynamic modeling and simulations of clinical trials to facilitate
design decisions. S/he will be involved with consultations on drug development
and regulatory issues. In addition, the fellow will actively participate in a
variety of formal and informal educational events. The fellowship culminates
with an experiential component at the FDA, which may not be found at other
programs.

The successful candidate will have an MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced
