The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of 
Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant 
Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant 
will have experience in the field of pharmacometrics with a focus on 
quantitative pharmacometric models in pediatric patients. Responsibilities 
include using clinical trial simulation to optimize prospective study design, 
data analysis (pharmacokinetic, dynamic and genomic), data summary and report 
generation. Teaching responsibility will include graduate student and peer 
mentoring. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent 
qualifications in education and research.

The applicant will be a faculty member in The Children's Hospital of 
Philadelphia's Center for Clinical Pharmacology. This Center focuses on 
training in clinical pharmacology, bioanalytical services, and 
pharmacostatistical support. It is expected that the applicant will assume a 
leadership position in the scientific community and obtain grant support either 
as a principal or co-principal investigator.
