The Medical Products Agency in Sweden has an open position for a 
pharmacometrician at the department for licensing.

Job Summary

Your main task will be scientific evaluation of population PK and PK/PD 
analyses submitted as part of marketing authorization applications of human 
medicines.  Also, scientific advice concerning the development of medicinal 
products and evaluation for approval of clinical trials is included in the 
work. The work is largely independent but also involves collaboration with 
colleagues in different areas of expertise at the agency as well as at other 
authorities in the EU.


Qualifications
You have strong theoretical understanding and demonstrated application of 
population PK and PK/PD principles and hold a higher degree in pharmaceutical 
science or equivalent. Experience in drug development and/or regulatory 
processes is advantageous. Good written and verbal communication skills in 
English and Swedish (or with an intention to learn) are important and the daily 
work requires that you are familiar with the use of computers.

We expect that you have the ability to critically analyze scientific 
information and make sound judgments on its value. You should have the ability 
to work independently and with a high degree of responsibility for planning of 
tasks to meet agreed deadlines and expectations. Interpersonal skills to 
facilitate team-working is of importance.
