Dear colleagues and friends,
This is a reminder that the deadline for abstract submission for the World
Conference of Pharmacometrics (WCoP) is approaching fast!

For those few of you that do not know already, WCoP 2022 will be hosted in
beautiful Cape Town, South Africa from 29 March to 1 April 2022 and will run as
a hybrid conference. This means that delegates who are able to travel to Cape
Town may attend in person, while an online platform will be available to allow
remote attendance for everyone else.
https://wcop2022.org/

You have until the 30th of September to get your abstract ready and submit on
our website, so hurry up!

If you are a student or young researcher and you are submitting an abstract to
WCoP as presenting author, you can also apply for a travel bursary, kindly
supported by our sponsors. The deadline is also the 30th of September.

An exciting scientific program is being put together and will be confirmed
soon. It will be complemented by networking sessions and an impressive line-up
of workshops covering a broad range of topics. Stay tuned for more details, but
to get a flavour of what we have in store, please visit our website and refer
to the original plans from 2020, as most of the invited speakers and workshop
organisers have already confirmed their availability.
As for the open slots of oral presentations, we are looking forward to your
abstract submissions!

If you are keen to attend WCoP, but you won't have an abstract ready in time
for September 30, it is pity, but don't despair! We will have another round of
abstracts and bursaries later in the year that will allow you to submit present
your work at WCoP, but those late abstracts will be reviewed later will not for
an oral presentation, so hurry up if you can!
As an extra incentive to submit your work, please be reminded that all new
abstracts presented at WCoP 2022 will be published in a supplement to CPT:
Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, similar to the special issue of CPT:PSP
featuring abstracts from WCoP 2020.

We understand that future travel may be uncertain, but we hope you will choose
to register and join us in beautiful Cape Town!
Should circumstances change, there are options to revert to virtual attendance.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to also thank all of our
generous sponsors who have remained on board in support of WCoP.

We are looking forward to receiving your scientific contributions and seeing
you in Cape Town for WCoP 2022!

Best regards,
Paolo Denti on behalf of the WCoP Organising Committee

PS: Those of you who had already registered for the original 2020 meeting
should have received a separate communication explaining how to proceed with
your previous registration, abstract and/or bursary application. If you did not
get a message and/or you have any queries, please contact
