Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director (Sr. / Exe.) with at least 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will guide a talented group of scientists in addressing complex challenges in model-informed drug development while fostering their growth and career advancement. As part of our team, you will collaborate with clients on biomedical research, drug development, and post-marketing programs for new drugs, biologics, devices, and diagnostics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced pharmacometric strategies, integrating data to drive decision-making in drug development programs. Additionally, you will contribute to internal and external reporting, as well as publications, while continuously developing your expertise in biomedical modeling and simulation. Job Summary: As the Group Leader and Principal Scientist, you will oversee a team of modeling and simulation scientists, ensuring their professional growth and supporting their contributions to modeling and simulation analyses. You will play an integral role in company-wide scientific initiatives, consult with clients on project-related matters, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Your leadership will drive the scientific vision of the company and inspire the team to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities: Provide scientific guidance and leadership to a team of modeling and simulation scientists. Foster the professional development of group members, helping them grow their skills and careers. Lead and contribute to business development efforts and client interactions. Oversee the modeling and simulation processes to support drug development and clinical trials. Provide strategic consultation and technical expertise to clients in the field of drug development. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and scientific publications for internal and external audiences. Mentor junior staff, offering supervision and career guidance. Lead initiatives to advance the company's scientific goals and objectives. Participate in project scoping and proposal preparation. Contribute to training efforts, including teaching or assisting in training courses. Required Skills and Qualifications: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of guiding teams to success. Experience mentoring and developing early-career scientists. Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools such as NONMEM, MONOLIX, or STAN for quantitative decision-making. Expertise in drug development, either as a pharmacometrician or statistician. Skilled in programming and statistical analysis using tools such as SPLUS, R, or SAS. Strong background in Bayesian data analysis. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Education and Experience: Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, mathematics, statistics, biomedical engineering) or a Master's degree with substantial relevant experience. Minimum of 10 years of postgraduate experience, demonstrating technical expertise and a commitment to advancing science. Proven ability to assume a leadership role and contribute to the scientific community.
